Moonburst – Red Cedar & Marble Sculpture (60")
This 60-inch contemporary sculpture blends natural West Coast materials with a celestial presence. The figure is carved from BC Red Cedar, its warm grain enhanced by radiating linework that rises toward a perfectly rounded Pacific White Marble moon. The marble’s soft grey veining and luminous surface create a striking contrast against the cedar’s organic warmth.

Anchored on a distinctive Black Orca Marble base, the piece balances earth and sky, grounding the vertical form while drawing the eye upward toward the moon element. The combination of stone and wood gives the sculpture both weight and lift, evoking themes of renewal, guidance, and the quiet pull of the natural world.
