Donald G. Moss
Donald G. Moss is a Canadian fine artist, sculptor, and author whose work is shaped by the rugged landscapes and natural materials of the West Coast. Working with BC cedar, marble, slate, granite, and acrylic on canvas. My work is an exploration of the structural dialogue between the ancient stone and the legacy woods.
I create 'anchors' for the modern interior—pieces that bridge the gap between contemporary architecture and the raw, unyielding energy of the Pacific Northwest. Each creation is a study in weight, light, and the permanence of our local landscape."
With a portfolio of more than 200+ original artworks, Donald’s practice spans large-scale sculptures , Wood, stone, metal, and expressive abstracts. West Coast landscapes, and mixed-media paintings ++. His work has been exhibited across Vancouver Island, including feature showings at Unsworth Vineyards and charitable collaborations with the SPCA.
Alongside his visual art, Donald is the author of a growing collection of transformational business psychology books, drawing from decades of leadership, entrepreneurship, and professional speaking across North America. His writing blends real-world experience with direct, practical insight into communication, delivery, and human behavior.
Donald works with leaders responsible for more than just results — leaders shaping teams, organizations, and cultures. His work focuses on the moment where success plateaus, curiosity fades, and momentum quietly slows. Through speaking, dialogue, and ongoing reflection, he helps leaders move beyond managing what exists and into creating what comes next.
Through both art and words, Donald’s mission is the same: to create work with integrity, purpose, and emotional impact.
All of Dons Neolithic rock interpretive reconstructions are “Inspired by documented Neolithic layouts and archaeological references.”
Materials & Collaborations
Much of my sculptural work is created using BC-sourced Marble, Slate, Granite and other exotic minerals sourced here in BC. Special thanks to BC Marble and Tom, whose knowledge and craftsmanship have supported many of the pieces in my collection. Their dedication to quality materials plays a meaningful role in the work you see here.
As far as the local BC wood species used, all are from the local mid island sawmills.
